TRACY POWELL
1970

Years Attended HHS/Graduated:  1970

Marital Status:  Married (Lee, lawyer) since 1982

Children:  4 daughters (7, 10, 12, 13) who are a blast. Life is a bit chaotic, to say the least!

Career information:  Worked for a law firm in Albany, New York for a year, and have lived in Rochester since 1982. Currently working part time in medical malpractice (defense) taking overload trials from 2 partners.

Hobbies:

Fondest memory of Heidelberg:  I figure if my kids are going to grow up in the same place, at least they can get out and see some of the rest of the world. So, maybe they'll get to see Heidelberg next summer. I enjoy taking my daughters back to places I lived as a kid so I can bore them with memories. Heidelberg was such a special place at such a critical time in my life, I would like to give my family a glimpse of that bit of history.

Anything unusual or exciting events in your life since graduation that you'd like to share with the group:  Before law school, I went to school at Univ. Fla., after a year at Radford College in Va. I also lived on Martha's Vineyard off and on from 73 till 78, pondering my future while tending bar. Now we do a bit of traveling around, since I seem to be grounded in Kodak country. We bought a rental house on Martha's Vineyard in '83, so we visit that a couple of times a year to get it in shape to rent out (and to check out the beach). I travel back and forth between here and Augusta, Ga., where my parents used to live, and my husband volunteers at the Masters Tournament each April. We visit my brother and family on the West Coast, my father in law in Edmonton, Alberta, a French family whose kids have summered with us, and spent Thanksgiving in Jamaica with friends originally from there, and visited Scottish pen pals.
